FAQ & Notes about “Cred-Read”

1. Service Object

Readers holding any card issued by public libraries in Zhejiang Province that allows book borrowing.

Readers without cards or living in regions where the credit service is not available yet at local libraries, can follow the “Library Credit Service” via AliPay APP and activate the service by spending 550 points of their “Zhima Credit”.

Domestic Chinese books.

3. Range of Express Delivery

Inside Zhejiang Province only.

4. Guides of “Cred-Read”

Login with ID card no. → add books needed to the shopping cart → fill the recipient’s information → place the order & pay → book delivery → book return

5. Notes for Readers

Up to five books/month via the “Cred-Read” platform for each reader;

Each borrowing expires in 45 days dating from the date of receipt. Days stop counting upon the library’s receipt of the returned books;

No renewal or lending to others;

A late return will result in the disqualification for “Cred-Read” Service.

6. Return of Books

On-site return: the list of libraries that accept on-site returns;

By express delivery: necessary to put into the package a note that indicates the ID card no. of the reader.

Readers should pay the delivery fee themselves. Any cash-on-delivery will not be accepted.

Book receiving ends at 15:00 every day; any delivery after 15:00 will be regarded as a next day delivery.

7. Having a Problem with Using “Cred-Read”?

Check if your credit service activated or if you have a reader’s card issued by any public libraries in Zhejiang Province that allows book borrowing;

Check if have reached the maximum number of books you can borrow;

Check if the price of any books you borrowed is over 300RMB;

One reader can only borrow ONE book of the same via “Cred-Read”.

8. After-Service

Check the condition of books upon receipt. Should you find any damage, missing pages or others that affect your reading, you can contact the online store for a replacement within seven days.

How to Pay?

For any books required by readers that comply with the procurement rules of the library, the library will purchase the books, and no need for readers to pay.


About Delivery

Books will be shipped out by the online store by express delivery after placing the order.

Make sure that your tel. no. submitted is correct. Also, keep your phone reachable for a timely delivery.
