In China, New Year's eve or Chuxi every year is the time when all the members of the family gather and enjoy a reunion dinner while watching CCTV New Year's Gala together. This year, a special recital gala was sponsored by Zhejiang Library and also contributed by public libraries at all levels in the province. On January 30, this recital gala was simulcasted on China Blue TV App and Zhejiang Library’s official platform on Bilibili App, which attracted more than three million online viewers.
Combined with musical works describing the local characteristics, this recital gala showed the charm of classical literature and local culture to the residents in the province and celebrated the New Year at the same time.
