Dialogue between Sanxingdui and Liangzhu

A dialogue between "Sanxingdui and Liangzhu" was held in the lecture hall on the second floor of Zhejiang Library on the evening of September 18th. Archaeological experts from Sichuan and Zhejiang focused on the jade Cong and the Sacred Tree described the exchange and blending of the Liangzhu civilization and the ancient Shu civilization.

 

 

The "Latest Discovery and Archaeological Process of Sanxingdui Sites" lecture was held online at the Wenlan Forum of Zhejiang Library on the evening of September 18th. The lecture was sponsored by Sichuan Daily·Chuanguan News, Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Zhejiang Library and Zhejiang Daily. Ran Honglin, director of the Sanxingdui Institute of Archaeology, Sichuan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, who’s in charge of the Sanxingdui archaeological excavation site, introduced the latest progress of Sanxingdui archaeology to netizens, and had a dialogue about "Sanxingdui and Liangzhu" with Fang Xiangming, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology.

  Jade Cong is a cylindrical jade article with an inner circle and an outer square. It is one of the important ritual vessels in ancient China.
