Lecturer: Lou Shengxian
The lecturer is from Hangzhou and was graduated from Hangzhou University. He learned calligraphy, painting and engraving from Xu Yinsen, Ma Qikuan, He Shuifa, Pan Feilun, Zhu Baoqing and Chen Zhenyu. He worked almost twenty years in calligraphy and painting for fans in Hangzhou Wangxing Jishan Factory. Since 2005, he has been engaged in engraving work at Xiling Seal Engrave’s Society located in Gushan. In 2011, he entered the studio of calligraphy masters in Art Weekly.
In 2018, The Bamboo Figure was exhibited in the second "Beautiful Hangzhou" Biennale
In 2014, he won the Excellence Award of the 7th National Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painter Exhibition
In 2005, he participated in the first exhibition of "China Seal, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting" held by Xiling Seal Engrave’s Society
In 1987, he won the Excellence Award of the First Seal Art Exhibition of Zhejiang Province (the highest award)
In 1985, his works were selected in Selections of Zhejiang Engraving
