On June 9th morning, 2010, the lectures work meeting of the second the Yangtze Delta area city library was open in Shanghai Library. The guiding unit of the meeting is Social and Cultural Affairs and National Cultural Information Resources Construction Management Center of Ministry of Culture. The meeting was jointly organized by Shanghai Library, Nanjing Library, Zhejiang Library and Anhui Library.
The leaders attending the meeting include: Yu qun, secretary of Social and Cultural Affairs, Liu hiuping, deputy director of National Cultural Information Resources Construction Management Center of Ministry of Culture, Mao yajun , the vice director of Operation Branch of Library Society of China, Wu jianzhong, Mu duanzheng and He yi, curator, secretary of the party committee and deputy curator of Shanghai Library, Zhu Haimin, curator of Zhejiang Library etc. More than 200 participants include: 35 curators from Zhejiang province, 24 curators from Jiangsu province, 10 curators from Anhui province, 16 curators from Shanghai City and 19 curators from other provinces and cities nationwide.
Leaders had given speech, they were Yu qun, secretary of Social and Cultural Affairs of Ministry of Culture, Liu hiuping, deputy director of National Cultural Information Resources Construction Management Center of Ministry of Culture, Wu jianzhong and Mu duanzheng , curator and Secretary of the party committee of Shanghai Library. Zhu Haimin, curator of Zhejiang Library, read out the proposal about set up “the Yangtze Delta area city library lecture collaboration network" on behalf of three provinces and one city. He yi, deputy curator of Shanghai Library, hosted the opening ceremony.
At this meeting, Cheng lingkang, director of lectures centre of Shanghai Library , hosted curator forum of three provinces and one city. Jia xiaodong, deputy curator of Zhejiang Library, gave a briefing on the operating situation of lectures alliance of public libraries in Zhejiang province. Zhang haizheng, curator of Anhui Library, recommend the lecture status of Anhui Library. Additionally, deputy curator of Shanxi Library and curator of Yangzhou Library made the work report.
Professor Yi Zhongtian was also invited to make keynote speech called “thinkers times”. Librarians enjoy the high-quality lecture.
Librarians coming from different groups have made positive statements about the humanities lecture and the people///s livelihood services in the group discussion at afternoon. Eventually, They have made the summary speech on behalf of different groups in the closing ceremony. The meeting was over in warm applause.
