December 11, the listing ceremony of Yanshan Primary School circulation station of Zhejiang Library was held in Louta Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City. This school was the first “Hope” Primary School which established cooperative relations with circulation station of Zhejiang Library. Xu Jie, the deputy secretary of Party Committee of Zhejiang Library, Lou Ye, the Yanshan Primary School headmaster, Zhang Xiaowei and Xia Ren, respectively the director and deputy director of newspapers and periodicals services department attended the ceremony.
Lou Ye said:” Yanshan Primary School known as a ‘Hope’ Primary School on national tax in Xiaoshan District is a ‘Hope’ Primary School at village level. There are more than 400 students, many of them are children of migrant workers. There exists a serious shortage of extracurricular books. The circulation station has been established with the support of Zhejiang Library. It is a very big help for improving children///s learning and enriching their after-school life.” He expressed gratitude to Zhejiang Library on behalf of the children, and hoped to have further cooperation in the future, for example, organizing students to take part in all kinds of activities held by Zhejiang Library in order to let the children of rural schools walk, look and increase insights.
Xu Jie said:” This is one of Zhejiang Library services to provide high-quality cultural services all the way for the minors and disadvantaged groups. We are very joyful to establish the circulation station in Yanshan Primary School and contribute our strength to these children. I wish that both sides can conduct more cooperation in the future.”
