The Grand Canal (also known as the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the longest canal or artificial river in the world and a famous tourist destination. Cities alongside the Grand Canal promoted the regional opening and the blend of cultures according to advantages of their geographical location.

 

Haining is an important site on route of the Grand Canal and a representative of the Grand Canal culture. Three parts, the “soul”, “passion” and “praise” of the Grand Canal, let the words in the poem come alive, extend the connotation of Zhejiang culture in the form of sound, and use the appeal language to promote the construction of Zhejiang culture.
