Jiangshan County is the gateway to the southwest of Zhejiang Province and one of the sources of the Qiantang River. There are many famous national-level scenic spots here, such as Mount Jianglang, which has been listed in "China Danxia", classed as one of the world natural heritage because of the typical example of the Danxia landform characterized by high isolated peaks, Xianxia Pass, one of Chinese four great ancient passes, Fugai Mountain, Xiali Lake and Moon Lake. Here are more than 150 scenic spots and many poetry and literary works are based on local themes in Jiangshan.
World Natural Heritage - Mt. Jianglangshan : Thin strip of sky
On November 5, 2019, Zhejiang Library, united with Zhejiang Recitation Association, Jiangshan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Jiangshan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Jiangshan Music and Dance Association, Jiangshan Cultural Center, Jiangshan Wu Opera Research Institute, and Jiangshan Library, held a poetry recitation themed "Years as Songs, Jiangshan as paintings", in order to tap the rich humanistic resources, tell the story of Jiangshan, and promote the integration of culture and tourism.
In the form of comprehensive stage performances such as recitation, dance, chorus, sitcom, etc., this activity presents in an all-round way the historical and cultural features of Jiangshan, and demonstrates the spirit of unity of the public in Jiangshan.
