“A Taste of Charm and History of Tea—Anecdotes of Zhejiang Traditional Famous Tea” ends in Tianhuangping Town Branch of Zhejiang Library

From July 9 to July 15, 2018, the exhibition “A Taste of Charm and History of Tea—Anecdotes of Zhejiang Traditional Famous Tea” was held in Tianhuangping Town Branch of Zhejiang Library.

As an indispensable part of ancient Chinese civilization, tea culture bursts into bloom in the long process of history with its unique charm. For a long time, tea brewing and tea drinking have been regarded by Chinese as a lifestyle of cultivating one’s morality. The development process of tea culture can also be said to be the self-cultivation process of Chinese. Zhejiang, as one of the origins of tea, is endowed with a long history of tea and splendid tea culture. Here, men of literature and writing got to know about Zhejiang tea and created multiple poems, calligraphy, painting, and stories concerning tea.

Ten kinds of famous Zhejiang tea were selected for this exhibition to reveal their characteristics, history, and allusions. A total of more than 120 readers participated in the exhibition.
