“2018, ‘福’ to You”

Spring festival scrolls conveying heartily wishes, “福” on paper bursting with joys.

Upon the arrival of the Spring Festival, Documents Service Department of Zhejiang Library invited a number of calligraphy amateurs to gather on the 2/F of the Library on 13 Jan. 2018 to write spring festival scrolls and “福” to readers.

The calligraphy and traditional folk customs were warmly welcomed by readers.Freshly inked “福” and spring festival scrolls carry people’s hopes and wishes for a better life the coming new year. Nearly a thousand readers participated in this activity in just two hours. They wrote with friendly sentiments and gave best wishes, eulogizing the long standing Chinese culture.
